WARTS

Warts can appear anywhere on your body. The ones that grow on the soles of your feet are called plantar warts. These are slightly different to other warts because they grow into your skin, not out of it. The virus that causes warts, infects the superficial layer of the skin, producing an irregular thickened callus-like growth that can become quite tender and possibly spread to other areas.

At Right Path Podiatry we assess your plantar wart to make sure that the correct diagnosis is made. We then focus on the best treatment plan which can include resecting the wart, nitrous freeze and acid treatment. Treatment option can range from mild to moderate pain treatment options.  The treatment plan may depend on the patient’s age and tolerances.
